Our Story

We fell in love with frozen custard in 2021, and quickly realized California didn’t have enough of it. After our homemade quarts became a local hit, we knew we had to bring something special to Long Beach.

In March 2024, we opened the doors to Seaside Creamery, a family-run scoop shop serving ultra creamy, nostalgic custard ice cream made in small batches with love.

Our custard base starts with a premium Meadowvale mix enriched with egg yolks the key to the rich, velvety texture that sets our ice cream apart.

Every batch is handmade right here in Long Beach using top-tier ingredients. From our custard base to every swirl and mix-in, everything is chosen for flavor, texture, and quality.

And we’re always experimenting with seasonal ingredients and flavor trends to keep things exciting — because our customers deserve something worth craving.

Why Custard?
